Funerals

If you have recently lost someone dear to you, we offer you our sincere condolences.

It is our experience at St Alban’s that the funeral service can become an occasion of thanksgiving for the life of a loved one; and bring comfort to those who have been bereaved.

God’s love is for all of creation. Every person and every life, including our own is precious to God. We believe, as Christians that there is hope in death as in life.

For those who live within our parish we offer support when a loved one dies.

Making sure that the funeral service is the best that it can be is one of the last things any of us can do for someone we love who has died.

At St. Alban’s we seek to help people find a way of saying farewell that expresses their feelings about their loved one. This includes helping to plan and then lead a funeral service at either the Church or Crematorium, or one of the local cemeteries.

For people who don’t have a connection with their local church usually a funeral director will offer advice and act as the first point of contact with your local church. If you would like to speak to a member of the ministry team at St Alban’s about a funeral service then please contact us.
